Lakewood Country Club

Recommended Lakewood Golf Club is an interesting course near to Bangkok city center. The Lakewood golf course comprises of a vast green space and a luxurious housing estate. Although the golf course is relatively flat, the surrounding landscaping features more than 45 species of plants and more than 2,000 trees.

Aptly named, the course comprises 'Lake', 'Wood' and 'Rock' nines. The relatively flat terrain is enhanced by a profusion of flowers and shrubs; water features on almost every hole. Easy driving distance from central Bangkok. Fantastic course with 3 contrasting 9 hole layouts with a choice of 4 tee boxes. Always in top condition. Good golfing can be assured and some of the par 3's are really excellent golf holes that rival the best. The caddies are all well trained making green reading, with their help, a real pleasure. A little more expensive than some other courses in the area due to it's relatively close proximity to the new airport and popularity on weekends with the many Asian expatriate members.
