Rachakram Golf Club

Very new course north of Bangkok. Reasonable green fees even on weekends. Good maintance, excellent greens but not much shade.

This course has a great variety of holes both in length and design. The pars 3’s are challenging with lengths of 193, 230, 206 and one short one of 136 yards. The par 5’s all measure over 500 yards and with the wind against you at times; these par holes can play like well over 600 yards! There is plenty of water including some blind water hazards.
The Ratchakram clubhouse is new, very modern and clean with excellent locker room facilities. This is a must play course, especially before word gets out and it becomes more popular. While the drive from Bangkok is slightly longer than other Bangkok golf courses, playing speed, even on a weekend, is less than 4 hours, making the overall elapsed time quite reasonable.

This is a very good new golf course. The greens are very tricky. The only problem is the staff there do not speak much English.

ผมอยากจะบอกว่า สนามนี้ เป็นสนาม ที่แย่มาก เนี่ยง จากวันนี้ 26 มีนาคม 2552 ผมและก๊วนของผม ซึ่ง ตีกอลฟ์มา ประมาณ5ปี และได้ตีไป เกินกว่า80สนามทั่วป� �ะเทศไทย ไม่เคยเจอสนามที่แย� ��ขนาดนี้มาก่อน เริ่มด้วย ผม ทีออฟตอน่บาย3 และ ตีไปได้2 หลุม ขึ้นหลุมที่3 ตีไปได้2ช็อต เนื่องจากเปน พาร์5 รอตีช็อต3 ระหว่าเล่นผมก็เห็น� ��้าผ่ามาตลอดนับได้� �กิน20ครั้ง ตั้งแต่เริ่มหลุม2 ผมจึงตัดสินใจหยุดเ� ��ื่องจากมี ฝนปรอยลงมาด้วย แล้วผมก็เจอ GMและเจ้าของสนาม(คนเ� ��ียวกัน) ดักรออยู่ที่ทางออก� ��ลยนะคนับบอกว่าให้� �มกลับไปตีต่อให้จบ ไม่ต้องกลัวมีสายล่� ��ฟ้า ผมก็คิดว่า มีสายล่อฟ้า ที่มันจะประกันผมได� ��100เปอร์เซนต์เลยหรื� �ไง ทำไมโปรพีจีเอ เค้ายังหยุดกันเลย แถมของผมมีฝนด้วย เค้าบอกว่าถ้าเลิกต� ��นนี้จะคืนให้ 9 หลุมเท่านั้น ผมก็ไม่อะไร เพราะยังไงชีวิตผมก� ��มาก่อน แล้วหลังจากนั้นแค่� ��ม่ถึง5 นาที ฝนก็เทลงมาชนิดฟ้าร� ��วเลยหละ ผมเลยไปถามคนในห้อง� ��ายกรีนฟี ว่าจะมาขอคืนได้มั๊� �� ฝนตก ฟ้าผ่าขนาดนนี้คงตี� ��ม่ได้แล้ว ผมจะได้กลับบ้าน เพระาแคดดี้ก็บอกตก� ��บบนี้นานชัวร์ ขนดแคดดี้ยังบอกให้� ��ิดมือถือเลยเดี๋ยว� �้าผ่า แล้วGM อะฝนตกปุ๊ปกลับปั๊ป แล้วยังมีหน้ามาบอก� ��่าตีได้ๆ
พอไปถามในห้องกรีนฟ� ��เค้าบอกผมจะไม่ได้� �ืนสักหลุมเพราะ ฦนยังไม่ตกยังมีคนต� ��อยู่ ผมก็โกรธทันที พูดมาได้ยังไงฝนไม่� ��ก เพราะฝนมานเทลงมายั� ��กะฟ้ารั่ว ลม ก็แรง ฟ้าก็ผ่า โธ่บอกฝนไม่ตก สนามนี้จะขี้เหนียว� ��ปถึงไหน เค้ายังมาบอกอีกว่า� ��ห้กลับไปตีต่อ เพราะ จะไม่ให้คืนสักหลุม ผมและพรรคพวกจึงกลั� ��บ้านทันทีและสาบาน� �่าจะไม่กลับ ไปที่นั่นอีกแล้วใน� ��ีวิต
