Bangkok Courses

Thai Country Club

Thai Country Club is always impeccably maintained and managed - the first-class service starts from the moment you arrive at the club house. The caddies are amongst the most well-trained in Thailand and the course has some excellent holes including one of the best Par 3's in Asia, the 6th measuring 230 from the back tees, is as tough as they get with water guarding the right side and bunkers in front and behind the green. Thai Country Club hosted the Honda Classic Invitation tournament won by Tiger Woods.   The 18-hole, par 72, course lay-out lies gently undulating and mounded; it flows past flowering trees and shrubs, with a sea breeze off the Gulf of Siam whispering through the palm trees. Manicured beyond belief, you can be sure of a perfect lie on the Paspalum grass fairways, and the rough is reasonable. All the hazards are visible, from splashes of scalloped white sand to attractive lakes. Thai Country Club is an absolute must-play if you are visiting Bangkok and want to experience the very best that Thailand golf has to offer.

Almost perfect
written by Greg, January 11, 2008
Played there yesterday, the golfing experience and service is still second to none. Very friendly and helpful staff. Only the greens could be much better. The speed is ok, but they are a bit grainy and sandy, making it difficult to read and control the puts. Perhaps it's a result the tournament they had recently. Given the stature of the club and management, I expect it will be up to standard again shortly. By the way, don't forget to take a dip in the jacuzzi! Nice and relaxing after a day in the sun.

Dear sir/madam,

We have a flight of 5 golfers and we can split up into 2 flights when required.

We have our own transport and would like to enquire what will be the green fee if we book through your office to play Thai Country club on the 6th Aug 2009 morning.
