The Royal Golf & Country Club is a world-class golf course by Japanese course designer Chohei Miyasawa. This majestic layout preserves the natural environment throughout and gives one a scenic and refreshing atmosphere in which to enjoy playing golf. The Royal Golf & Country Club plays a full 6,807 yards from the challenging championship tees and a testy 6,232 yards from the regular white tees. It is only three miles west of the entrance to Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport.

The fairways are generous at this Bangkok golf course unless you hit it through the optimum landing areas trying to be long without being smart. The par four 430-yard finishing hole is a good example. Hit it through the large landing area trying to shorten your second shot and you could easily get wet or struggle from sand as the reward for your risk. Water needs to be carried from the tees on three of the par three holes, and a lot of lateral water and large bunkers are there to punish you if you hit it sideways. The par four 16^th hole is dubbed the "Mickey Mouse hole" owing to its sand bunker being shaped like Disney mouse ears. The green on this hole will get your attention as well with its three-spoke design allowing for very tight pin placements. The setting is in an agricultural area with no urban distractions. All in all, this Bangkok golf course is a great place to play when you want to get away from the crowds and be somewhere very relaxing.
