Almost equal distance between Bangkok and Pattaya, Royal Lakeside is easy to reach as it is close to the elevated Bangna- Trad motorway from the city and only eight miles from Chonburi.

An imposing clubhouse reminiscent of the famous White House welcomes you and this 18 hole links style course open in 1993 and recently renovated in 2010. Running at 6,815 yards, although relatively flat Royal Lakeside has some interesting challenges along the way.

Shrubs and flowers surround greens and fairways, some of which run right to the riverbank at this Bangkok golf resort. You can expect a steady breeze or gusting winds as the course is at the mouth of the Bangpakong River, right on the Gulf of Thailand. Great to keep everyone cool during the hooter days, however you will need to adjust some of your shots to allow for cross winds on some days.

Guests often comment about the immaculate condition and the extraordinarily large bunkers, one of which sprawls 600 yards from the tee up both sides of a fairway. The riverside setting, cooling breeze, and golf enjoyment is enhanced by the beautiful surroundings, especially the profusion of shrubs and flowers.

From the white tees the course gives the average handicap golfer a chance to make a few pars, especially on the par-three holes. The greens are fast and true and the fairways and bunkers are always kept in immaculate condition.

The stunning white clubhouse overlooks the 1st and 18th holes and features a Japanese restaurant that brings non-golfers to the club just for the food.
