Amanpuri (which means “peaceful place”) opened in 1988 as the very first AmanResort. It is located within a former coconut plantation overlooking the Andaman Sea on the west coast of Phuket. Amanpuri is entirely self-contained on a verdant peninsula sloping down to Pansea Beach and its pristine, sheltered cove.

Amanr esorts offers a range of villas for exclusive rental and purchase. These Aman Villas offer a pampered home-away-from-home experience, set in carefully sited and developed Amanresorts locations that place an array of facilities and services within reach.

Forty pavilions and 30 Thai villa homes are interspersed throughout the coconut grove. The resort's pavilions are 115 square metres each, including the private outdoor terrace. Pavilion rates are determined according to view and location.

The Amanpuri is situated above Pansea Beach on the west coast of Phuket Island. The Amanpuri hotel is a 20 minute, 17 km scenic drive from Phuket International airport. Complimentary private car transfers to and from Phuket airport are offered to guests.

The resort's pavilions are 115 sq. m comprising of a 50 sq. m bedroom and 65 sq. m dining pavilion with sundeck. Pavilion rates are determined according to view and location. Pavilion 105 and 103 are located with the best ocean views. 3 Deluxe Ocean Pavilions also have beautiful ocean view, while 4 Superior Partial Ocean Pavilions are set further back from the shore with partial ocean views. 25 superior garden pavilions are interspersed throughout the resort's coconut palm plantation, whilst the 6 Garden Pavilions are located nearest to the internal passage of the resort. NOTE: As a general policy, no extra bed is offered as the pavilions are designed to accommodate two adults. Beds and baby cots for children are available.
