Royal Samui Golf and Country Club clings to a mountainside above pristine beaches at Chaweng and Lamai. This nine-hole course will be accompanied by a second nine holes with equally striking panoramic views of adjacent and neighboring holes with many breathtaking elevation changes.
The course is quite challenging and even experienced golfers will have their work cut out to shoot par. Expert choices in club selection are mandatory for each shot to achieve the appropriate disatnce as perilous drops in elevation present golfers with challenges not normally seen on such courses.
Despite the fact that Royal Samui Golf and Country Club requires playing the existing nine holes twice to get in a full 18-hole round, the experience here is a good option for those so inclined. Caddies, golf carts and a pro-shop are all available for visiting golfers. However, the road leading to the course can be a bit of a challenge especially during the rainy season.
