Siam Country Club - Old Course

The Old Course at the Siam Country Club is located just 15 minutes from Pattaya beach and was the 1st privately owned golf course in Thailand and was first opened in 1971. The course which was originally designed by I. Izumi, was closed for a time recently, undergoing complete renovation by Schmidt Curley Design, and was reopened in March 2007. The newly designed tree lined course with 101 Bunkers is both attractive and challenging.  

With its wonderful landscapes, mature trees, shrubs and many holes playing past lakes it is not surprising that this is now one of Pattaya's best and popular courses.  The course has played host to many international golf tournaments over its many years, most recently hosting the LPGA 2007 & 2009 Honda PTT Classic

The Siam Country Club comes highly recommended by both local and international golfers and although the fairways are slightly narrow, this should be of no difficulty to the long drivers amongst you. This club is a must play in Pattaya as a premier golf course in the region.

Greenfees are about 2000 to 3000 bath.I played it in april,i think it was around 3000 bath. Must say,they are worth the money. smilies/wink.gif smilies/grin.gif

We played there last january and are planning to return again next january - Fantastic course. Tip - take one club extra as most of the greens are on an uphill approach
