Two courses, the "Old" and the "Country", located conveniently midway between Phuket Town and Patong Beach, about 15 minutes from Patong.
Renowned Thai Designer: Dr. Sukitti Klangvishai.
The "Old" is an 18 holes, par 72, 6,483 yards fun course which challenges low handicap players while in no way penalises holiday golfers.
Golf Orient unofficial rating: 70.4 off the blue tees.
Layout traverses 3 distinct environments - 6 holes in undulating hills, 6 holes on the level, and 6 holes through landscape forest.
Opened at the end of 1989, this is a tricky and undulating layout.
It is the most popular course on the island having established itself with a steady stream of golfing tourists. It is no easy layout though and winds itself up from the 10th hole for a tough back nine.
The 10th itself is a memorable hole that turns around a massive lake. Three big shots are necessary to get to the green. All three shots require water carries.
Slipping up is just too easy and "tough" is an understatement.
