All top golf courses are very heavily booked on weekends and holidays. Minimum is a three-some at all courses on weekends. If you would like to make a reservation as single golfer, you will have to join another group at the golf course. Distance from Bangkok city centre is between 30 to 90 minutes (very heavy traffic during rush hour from 7:00 - 9:00 and 16:00 - 19:00). Recommended hotels: Amari Boulevard & Landmark (Sukhumvit area), Landmark (also Sukhumvit), Natural Ville (serviced apartment, luxurious and brand new, like a 5-star hotel for half the price, best location, Langsuan Road)

Golf Orient can  arrange for personalised one-on-one golf tuition (Baht 1,500 to 1,700 per hour, approx. US$ 36 - 41), and also for 9-hole playing lessons accompanied by your teaching Pro at Baht 6,000 all in (approx. US$145).

Golf sets, right and left hand,  may be hired from us, or from the golf courses (Baht 400 per round).

Lessons will normally be with the Teaching Golf Pro Steve Kirk.

Swing: (One Hour):

The fundamentals of the professional swing. Stance, posture, grip, rythmn and finish.

Short Game (One Hour):

Three basic shots. (1) The wedge shot that drops and runs.

                            (2) The wedge shot that drops and stops.

                            (3) The pitch that runs.

Putting: (One Hour):

Stance and grip. Beginning Green and slope reading.

9 Hole Playing Lesson:

The rules, etiquette and courtesies of the game.

Basic course management.

How to enjoy the game!

Intermediate Lessons:

Swing: (One Hour):

Level 2 of the professional swing. The fundamentals of  shot making. Focus on rythmn, timing, and foot work.

Short game: (One Hour):

Fundamentals of the approach shot with focus on checking and back spin on the ball.

Putting: (One Hour):

Speed and distance control.

9 Hole Playing Lesson:

Shot making and scoring techniques.

Advanced Lessons:

Swing: (One Hour):

The completion stage of the professional swing. Distance and control of woods and irons.

Short game: (One Hour):

The 100 yard wedge shot.

Putting: (One Hour):

Green reading, rythmn of stroke and style.

9 hole playing lesson:

Fundamentals of 'Zoning'.

Concentration on scoring and learning how to win!.
