Well established trees and plants add to the allure.When the concept of "THE ROYAL GEMS GOLF AND SPORTS CLUB" was first conceived in 1989 Gary Roger Baird was introduced as the architect of the famed Shuzu course of the Shishido Kokusai Golf Club in Ibaraki, Japan, and the Hermitage Course, a permanent LPGA tournament site in the United States. Once you have visited and played the Royal Gems you will immediately realize that when Mr. Baird is introduced in the future, The Royal Gems will be listed as one of his great golf courses. What was few years ago 1,000 rai of paddy field (similar to that which can still be seen adjacent to the course) is now a 7,075 yard par 72 golf course that has been officially accepted as a member of the United States Golf Association. USGA membership is only granted to clubs after their layouts and facilities have been deemed to meet Championship standards.
