Description: Wide fairways and a setting close to the famous River Kwai give this
course great appeal. Jointly owned by Thais and
Japanese, the total land area is 1200 rais. There is welcome peace and
spaciousness about this 27 - hole international championship course. Always well
maintained, challenging, and eye catching (miniature replica of the Bridge over
the River Kwai for example), this golf course is the best in Kanchanaburi.
Unique among golf courses world over and environmentally friendly, the fairways
use imported Noshiba grass that does not require any pesticides to maintain a
high qulaity standard year round. An excellent golf course for the recreational
and single digit handicapper, Nichigo has to be included on all River Kwai golf
tours. Fairways - Noshiba grass from Korea. Greens: TiffDwarf grass. Course
rating - 72. Slope rating 113.
Accommodation available at the club. Low rise modern buildings spread around the golf
