Artitaya Golf & Resort

Artitaya Golf Resort-Logo

Korean owned and operated, Artitaya Golf & Resort was once known as Gold Canyon Golf Course. It is an 18-hole, par-72 course, 50 minutes-drive south-east of Chiang Mai. Completed in 2012, this scenic course located just outside Lamphun, is surrounded by jungle, fields orchards and canyons. At just over 7,300 yards from the back tees, the course is relatively flat. Its greatest challenges come in the form of mature trees, that are often positioned bang in the middle of the fairways. It requires some skill to avoid driving the ball directly into these obstacles. Water also comes into play on a number of holes. Carts are compulsory at Artitaya, just as well given the long distances between holes. If you are a fan of Korean cuisine, then you are in luck because the restaurant in the clubhouse serves up some of the best Korean food found anywhere in Northern Thailand. Facilities at Artitaya are in no means luxurious but could be considered adequate for most golfers needs.
