This Schmidt and Curley course has all the twists and turns that make it compatible with many international golf courses. At Best Ocean Golf club you have several water hazards, bordering and well placed sand traps, especially in front of the greens, all played on a very well maintained 18 holes.

However the 7,059 yard par 72 layout does have sometimes a strong breeze off the nearby Gulf of Thailand, so although it will keep you all cool in those hotter times of the day, it can become a difficulty  for high hitters.

Many of the fairways here do widen for safe landing areas though, but beware in places they do choke down in some landing areas for those who like the risk of going full bore off the tee. Like most links layouts, Best Ocean Golf club rewards good planning and position from the tee. Water lines many of the fairways, sometimes on both sides, and surrounds island greens and island tees.

To add to the fun there is a local airport close by so small planes zoom by on the fairways. Signature hole is their number seven a 344 yard par 4 with water on both sides of the fairway. You will need to carry at least 220 yards to the green or your ball will get wet.
