Aptly named, Lakewood Country Club comprises several lakes and plenty of trees as defined by the names of the three nines; Lake, Wood, and Rock. The relatively flat terrain is brought to life by a profusion of flowers and shrubs with water features on almost every hole. There are apparently over 5,000 trees around the course!

Take the short drive east from Bangkok on the Bangna Trad Highway and you are there before you know it. Lakwood is also only 10 minutes from Suvarnabhumi Airport, so it’s ideal for that last minute round before you catch a night flight home.

Michael Golf Design Group from the USA designed and built this Bangkok golf course and seeded the fairways and greens with Tifdwarf Bermuda grass, then installed more than 3,800 water sprinklers to keep it green year round.
