A Fun 18 Holes With Many Elevations

Silky Oaks

Silky Oaks is around 40 minutes from Pattaya and shares the same clubhouse with St Andrews 2000 Golf Club and the Rayong Green Valley Country Club. It’s distinctively named after a native of Australian tree that resembles a pine and is the main tree planted throughout the golf course.

Silky Oak is a regulation par-72 layout, and originally had 18 holes with 18 greens, but only 9 fairways. In late 2015 the owners increased the land area, so now the course has 18 individual holes.

Most holes on the course play to panoramic views of the surrounding hills. The half-way houses located on top of the hills have extra special breathtakingly scenery. Be sure to stop here between nines to really take in the magic of the area.

The clubhouse and other facilities at Silky Oak are adequate, but there are plans to build a new clubhouse and to add a further 18 holes too.

Insiders Tip: Make sure you arrive early as it is a 10 minute drive by golf cart from the clubhouse to the first hole. Book this course now through Golf Orient or let us include it in a package for you and your group.
