Rancho Charnvee Country Club is only 90 minutes from Bangkok and is one of the first courses you reach arriving in the Khao Yai National Park area.

Designed by Bob McFarland, this 7,131 par 72 course is beautifully laid out and starts with a tee off over a lake with a yacht moored in the centre onto an uphill fairway.

Fairly wide fairways, and receptive greens allow for fair scoring for golfers of all levels. The front nine moves around a country farmhouse, while the back nine takes you around a flat piece of land framed with the Khao Yai mountains in the back ground.

There are many well place bunkers to keep you on your toes, along with several water carries and out of bounds.

Perhaps unique to any other course in Thailand is their private tarmac airstrip which lies close to hole number 11, so you can even charter a plane and fly your playing partners there as well!
