Asian Tour’s First Accredited Golf Course in Vietnam

The Dàlat at 1200 & Private Estate is build 1,200 metres above sea level, hence the unusual name. Located a quick 40 minute flight from Ho Chi Minh City, Dalat at 1200 is also the world’s first Country Club to become an accredited Asian Tour Destination.
It became the first 18-hole Stadium Championship Course of its kind, an Asian Tour Performance Golf Institute and offers a superb new style clubhouse, setting new standards for professionals and amateurs golfer alike.

The Dàlat at 1200 & Private Estate, (formerly called The Lion Hills Golf & Country Club) is a par 72 championship course running at 6,844 yards. It was designed by Myanmar professional golfer, and current Executive Chairman of the Asian Tour, Kyi Hla Han. Rated among Asia’s best players during the height of his career, he is greatly respected in the international golfing arena, and has used the incredible topography to create a really challenging layout. .
The club is built over 1,200 metres above sea level, in the quaintly alpine city of Dà Lat. Uniquly for Vietnam, Da Lat benefits from a remarkably temperate, dry ‘highland climate’, allowing golfers to play golf 365 days a year. This 2,100 acre lakeside estate, bordered by three pine forest valleys, has its own micro-climate, with refreshing breezes to keep you cool even in the hot summer months.

In March 2016, the championship course and private estate gained international exposure when it staged a Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) tournament with prize money of US$420,000, , and will do so again in 2018 and 2019. The tournament was televised live across five countries with delayed telecast in eight other countries.
