Gassan Panorama Golf Club first opened its doors to the public in November 2006, albeit under a different name. At the time, it was the third course in the Gassan Group stable. In 2017, after a ten you closure, it re-opened under its current name. At 7,761 yards, it is thought to be one of the longest golf courses in Thailand. From a design perspective, the Gassan Group laid out the course around the contours of a large lake, while incorporating plenty of waterside bunkers and lush, tropical greenery. The surrounding tree covered Chiang Mai mountains provide a stunning backdrop to a round of golf here. Overlooking the lake, the large clubhouse does not disappoint either, offering both Thai and International restaurants, locker rooms, a pro shop, seminar rooms and a large banquet hall. Kick back and enjoy a cold beverage while soaking up the unique Arabian style architecture of the clubhouse. You could be forgiven for thinking that you in fact in an Arabian Sheiks castle, rather than a Thai clubhouse. If you are looking for a unique golfing experience, both on and off the golf course, in Thailand’s second largest city, Gassan Panorama Golf Club may well fit the bill.
