Jack Nicklaus designed this par 72 course with his characteristic massive landing areas on the fairways, to offer placement options from the various tees, assuming the fairway bunkers don’t get you. The real test here however, as on most of his designs, gains momentum as you approach the relatively small greens, all of which are guarded by sand bunkers. Here he has every shape in the book ranging from kidney or clover-shaped greens, and every variation you can think of.

The first thing you notice about this course is its links-inspired layout that is short on trees and long on wind.
